Mia Pritts, Founder & Principal Consultant

Mia Pritts brings over 25 years of experience in Early Care and Education, with deep expertise in child care operations, business strategy, and provider support. She spent 12 years in center- and home-based programs before moving into leadership roles at Early Learning Ventures and Wonderschool, where she helped develop and scale tools that support providers nationwide.

As a consultant, Mia partners with organizations such as Opportunities Exchange and the National Association for Family Child Care, as well as nonprofits, funders, and startups launching innovative child care solutions. Her work spans shared services, technology platforms, employer-sponsored care, and systems-building initiatives.

Mia is passionate about elevating home-based care and building stronger bridges between providers, policymakers, and business leaders. She holds degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Colorado Denver and serves on the Advisory Board for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Psychology and Child Development Department.

Outside of work, Mia loves adventuring with her husband and two children, spending time outdoors, and volunteering in her community.
